A couple things happened in the process of creation. There are fifty-four cards in the starter deck of Game Cards, included with every Chaos In America game. I decided to make the back of each Game Card, a meaningful piece of satirical art. That decision means I put all the time and attention on each card required to produce art to be proud of. This pushed out the roll out of the game. Some among us may have tuned out the news of late. To produce accurate, factual, Game Cards, I put all of my research skills to work. Ask me anything, I KNOW what this administration is doing. Because I’m an optimistic person, I also researched the best ways to get engaged fighting back. This is how Chaos In America became not just a Board Game, but Recreational AND Educational. Quality and Meaning Not wanting to waste an opportunity to communicate, you’ll find symbolism and metaphor aplenty in the Chaos In America board game. All the participants are players on the same team when the play the game. They are represented by a “pawn” game piece, a shameless allusion to how we all feel of late, merely pawns in someone else’s drams.
